I think I’ve picked up the habit of spending a load on food on the days I have a short early shift. I can’t help but feel happy and want to stuff my face with some good food. There’s a sushi store called Wasabi a few minutes away from my work place so I went over without a second thought.

They have readymade sushi, sushi sets, salads and hot food which are purchased at the counter. The rest you can choose at the fridge, they’ll add up the total and you pay at the cashier.

I bought:
Rainbow set £7.45 (3 salmon nigiri, 1 tuna nigiri, 1 shrimp nigiri, 2 salmon and fried prawn rolls, 2 salmon and crabmeat rolls, 2 special California rolls, 2 salmon sashimi, wakame seaweed, a pack of soy sauce, a pack of wasabi and pickled ginger)
Salmon nigiri 2 for £1
Salmon hosamaki 2 for £1
California rolls 2 for £1.50
Crabmeat roll 2 for £1.50
Small packets of soy sauce 15p each

I just grabbed a handful of sushi, can’t remember how much of each I picked but I just grabbed enough to make my belly explode. It came up to a total of £15.60 which is pretty good considering the pieces were big and filling. After my rainbow set I was pretty full so I left the rest for supper later. I had the same for lunch at work the next day. I think I overdosed on sushi, thats me done with sushi for now.
