Quite frankly, I hate when people confuse these two. Although, the two might be somewhat easy to confuse with one another, they have distinct differences. For instance, Deschanel's eyes are blue, not green. Also, Zooey is shorter, and has a smaller frame than Katy Perry. Katy Perry stole Zooey Deschanel's look, end of story. Stop confusing them!

Luke Thiessen: Zooey's so sweet, it's just annoying looking at articles about Katy Perry that has pictures of Zooey Deschanel in them. That's just my opinion, though.
Zooey is so much better as a singer and just as a person. I saw an interview with her where she addressed the similarities and confusion, and she kindly dismissed it, saying that she had been a fan of Katy Perry, and wasn't insulted by the confusion or similarity.

Plus, she's an established actor and singer. Zooey is talented in more than one field, and she's been around way longer than Katy Perry.

ashley hamilton: I've been an avid Zooey fan for years since she was in The New Guy (2002) , and I love her style. Katy Perry just recently became popular.
