Have you ever used this App.? It is called Track ID and it is available on Android's Play Store. I don't know if it is available for the iPhone/iPad.
So Track ID helps you identify any song you want whether it's from the TV, radio, etc... all you have to do is hold your phone and press record. It will identify the song, the artist and the album. I love it, it's awesome. I run so many times to the radio with my phone just to find out which song is playing.
