my mom received this watch as a gift from my father when they first got married and passed her licensing exam to become an architect. over the years, my mom has stopped wearing this watch because it is too small for her and has purchased a new watch instead. as a present to me, my mother decided to let me have this watch. we got it resized at a local cartier store and they even cleaned it for me so it looked brand new.

i am extremely pleased with this watch - it suits my petite frame and the bracelet looks more like a feminine bracelet than anything else. it's light, has a mixture of gold and silver in it, and goes really well paired with my giles & brother cuff that i posted about a few days ago.

i will always be happy to wear this watch because it has so much sentimentality behind it, and reminds me of my mom and dad! i'm honored my mom gave it to me :)
