I can't justify spending over $150 on a watch. I can spend way over $150 on a purse though just not a watch... it's not my obsession just yet but I did find a cute mint watch from Target today. This watch is from the Xhilaration brand at Target. I originally was going to buy a darker teal that was made out of a soft material and I thought this shade looked nicer because it was a lighter mint color.. but Stupid ME. I didn't touch the material thinking it was the same and this one is a hard cheap plastic. I think I am going to go back to Target sometime this week and see if they have the other teal that is softer material on the band. Although, I think the watch is "cheap/crappy" and I don't 100% love it by feel, by look I 100% like it-- I think this is a good alternative to own especially if you're into "trends" because Mint is a hot color right now. Once the trend is over at least you're not wasting a lot of money since these were only $12.99+ tax and there's already a battery in the watch! Oh yeah, the watch is big on me but this watch you can take the links off and customize it to your own fit. As you can see in the photo there are a bunch of affordable, colorful, cute, unique watches at Target!

I'm not really a watch enthusiast, though those are really cute!!! All of my watches are gifted and I do wear one everyday mainly because I am a nursing student and its a must :) My favourite is a gold watch with white leather from nurse mates lol

Julia Dörk: True but personally for me I don't wear watches so I don't find the money to invest in them. If I did, I'd do it like how I invest in purses =) In the long run, you'd be saving $ by choosing one expensive then many cheap ones which is a good way of shopping!

i don't think i'd spend more than this much on a "trendy" piece either... i mean colored watches aren't going to be in for too long, i don't think, so it's not worth investing in
I like mint too, but not sure about on a watch. But, I do agree on not spending alot on trendy pieces, esp on things you know you would only wear seasonally or just not often at all. At least Target has a pretty good return policy should you decide to return/exchange this.

Ahh, I really like it. I don't spend much on watches either because I tend to loose them all the time. But this is perfect is just so cute and a pretty nice price.
