A while ago I posted about my summer vacation in Mexico that's coming up in July, I'm soo looking forward to it! I been searching for a cute floppy sun hat to bring with me because I'll be lounging by the pool and at the beach for hours and I definitely want to avoid sun damage on my face. I made the mistake of not wearing a hat when I was in Hawaii 2 years ago, and I came home with tons of sun spots on my face. I wore sunblock but it wasn't enough to protect my skin against the strong UV rays at the beach. I totally regret not wearing a hat. Never again will I expose my face under the sun for hours. Anyhow, I tried on so many different hats, from cheap ones at Forever 21 to pricey ones at Nordstrom. I just couldn't find one that I like. Then last week I randomly went into Sears with the intention of looking for pillows and at their home appliances. While I was there I saw that they had a rather large section in their women's apparel department that was dedicated to the Kardashian Kollection. I immediately saw their cute sun hats and tried all of them on, and I liked every single one of them! The quality of the hats were really good, they were comparable to the ones I've tried on at Nordstrom but at a fraction of the price. I ended up getting a plain tan one because I think it goes with the color of my hair. I love how the hat sits once it's on, it has a really cute shape. The sticker price was $40 but it was on "sale" for 30% off. So I paid $28+tax. Not too shabby. The hat will go with pretty much all my outfits so I'm really loving it. I can't wait to wear it when I'm in Mexico!
