So today while at the mall, I was trying to hunt for a strapless maxi dress for the summer! Originally I had my eye on one from Forever 21, but they no longer have it so I've had to set my eyes on another.
I've been looking all over the place for a nice looking one that can be worn any day and its hard to find a nice looking maxi dress, especially one that flatters my body. At first, I tried on strapped maxi dresses, then one should maxi dresses and then halter maxi dresses and they just didn't work out for me, then I decided on strapless maxi dresses.
So apparently, its super hard for me to find strapless dresses that are simple (ie: no ruffles) but in the end I ended up finding one :D So Fairweather was having a 50% sale on the whole store, now usually I'm not a Fairweather looker, but they had so many maxis I couldn't resist!
I'm definitely glad I walked in and took a look or else I wouldn't have been able to find this maxi :D So basically this is just a simple strapless maxi that has a rose floral print all over it, it looks super formal but when I wear it, I definitely feel like I can wear it out in the summer! It came in black as well, but when I tried on the black one, that one definitely looked like something for formal events not casual.
So the dress was originally $59.99 CDN, which I don't think I would have paid for, but with their sale of 50% off, it was suppose to be %30 CDN but they ended up charging me $20 CDN for the dress? I don't know how that works but oh wells! I'm just happy I picked up a maxi for the summer :D
What do you think? Does it look too formal in your opinion or is it causal enough for day to day?
