I remember first seeing Australian model Shanina Shaik on Make Me a Supermodel a few years back and even then I was really impressed with her beauty. I rooted for her to take first place in the modelling competition and hoped to see her follow suit with an amazing career. While the former didn't happen, the latter is currently in the making. Shaik caught plenty attention in 2011's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, enough to catch the attention of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld and was cast in the Pre-Fall 2012 runway show. These days Shaik has been busy shooting campaigns for Victoria's Secret, meeting with the editors at Vogue Australia, and is gearing up for New York Fashion Week. I'm really excited to see which shows she books for the season and how her career will unfold in the near future.
