I'm in love with these shorts by Runwaydreamz, but they cost $162. They are hand made/made to order, but they're so expensive.
I saw a video on how to recreate them and it seems easy enough. All you need is a pair of shorts and an american flag bandana. Then you can either glue the shorts with fabric glue or sew it on.

Christina Weir: I ended up gluing it on because it was easier. It was too hard to cut the exact shape and sew it on. With the glue I was able to glue the fabric down and then fold/cut it the way I wanted it and glue it down.
sew it on! That way it looks less craft-y
