now that i spend most of the year in northern california where it rains quite a bit more than i'm used to, i decided to get a raincoat. my mom's been bugging me to get one for a really long time now but i just didn't feel like getting one. i couldn't find any cute ones and i don't know. i just didn't feel like i needed one.
i was at target and i spotted this raincoat. suddenly, i knew i needed a raincoat! LOL
okay, so the rain i've experienced in norcal is really tricky because it's often coupled with wind and your umbrella won't do you too much good because the rain is coming at you diagonally/horizontally. it's nice to have something other than an umbrella too. i think i came to this realization after i saw this raincoat.
more importantly, it's SO CUTE. it's the perfect yellow color and it's bright and i will undoubtedly stand out and look very bright in the middle of a rainstorm but who cares?? it also has a hood which is nice.
i'm not quite sure how this will wear and it will probably not feel that great on in a storm when i'm traversing inclement weather to get to class and i get all sweaty and stuff but whatever. it's better than nothing. it sure beats walking all the way to class with a soaked sweatshirt T_T
this was on clearance at target and i had a $3 off xhilaration coupon so i only paid $15 for this raincoat. not as good as some of the deals that other luuuxers have been able to find lately, but not bad either!

I used to wear a raincoat when I was younger but not anymore, I suppose thy do come in really handy
