I was thinking about what to get my boyfriend for his birthday and started to wonder. A lot of girls seem to think that Valentines day is just a day for them, a day for their boyfriends, significant others, or husbands to shower them with love and gifts.
I think that Valentines day is a day of love to show towards anyone, Even if you are single. Towards your family, friends, or even strangers who need help.
What is your definition of valentines day? If you are getting someone a present, what are you getting them?

Aw you guys are adorable! Yea I agree, Valentine's day is just about the people you love in your life, and not about all the other cliches.
i don't believe in valentine's day. people shouldn't need to be reminded to go out of their way for the one they love and show them that they love them and appreciate them. i'd take cheap sunflowers on a random day in august ANY day over roses, candy, and a cliche dinner on valentine's day.
it should be holiday seriously. the world needs a day just for love cause it seems the world needs more love nowadays.
