This book is about Connie a Harvard grad student who is wrighting her Dissertation(lots of big words), however she has the task of getting her dead grandmas house ready to sell. As she is working on the house she learns alot about her ancestry. the book gose back to the time of the Salem Witch Trils in 1692, and tells the story of connies ancestor Deliverance Dane. Connies dissertation becomes about the things she learns...
There is kind of a romance story in this book but its kind of wierd how the author through it in.
over all it was a good book, not one of my favorites but i like historical fiction so it was cool to read the parts from 1692.
