I wouldn't say she's unique. She's a Madonna wannabe and obsessed with looking like a freak to get attention. Am I really supposed to be impressed by her dressing like a burnt-out drag queen and acting like a man? She needs to get over herself. The only performance I've ever liked by her was the one with Tony Bennett where she looked like a normal person and actually sounded good.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some of her songs, but they're just easily-addicting pop songs to play in the club, not music I would call beautiful, deep, or original. Reminds me of the Spice Girls too, actually.

I'll take Cheryl Cole. I try not to judge singers who don't write all their songs (even though I do admire the ones who do). If I was a good singer (which I'm not), but just didn't happen to be good at writing lyrics, should that rule out a career in singing? It doesn't seem very fair to judge artists on their ability to write songs, but that's just me.
