Singer, actress, and now dog rescuer? Miley Cyrus happened upon this little darling abandoned in a box in front of a Walmart. Miley proudly debuted her new pooch by posting on Twitter (the way all celebrities make big news).
“Meet Happy! He was left in a box in front of Walmart. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. That's why we named him Happy.”
Happy's breed is not certain, but Miley tweets that he may be a Rottweiler and Beagle mix. And of course, from the picture she tweeted, it's obvious she couldn't stand to be away from her new baby for long because she even took him along with her to the salon as she was getting her hair down.
It's great that Miley just happened to be in the right place at the right time to see Happy there. I kind of wish I were lucky enough to find an abandoned dog or something. Now Happy will be joining Miley's posse of other dogs, which include Floyd, Lola, and boyfriend Liam's Ziggy. So jealous she has so many dogs, but she's a celebrity, so of course she has the money and space for a large brood of dogs. But ah. Still so jealous that I have only one pooch, although just one is already quite a handful.
Hooray for Happy having a lovely and happy ending. :)

Mimi Ho: I own a Pomeranian. He's bigger than the average Pomeranian and he has a flat coat instead of the show coat that everyone assumes Poms have. People oftentimes ask if he is mixed because of that. I really want a house full of Pomeranians with his coloring so it will confuse people haha.
