It tears me up how these girls in these pictures just let it happen to them. I understand its a modeling industry, but having too lose hardcore weight is ridiculous! I bet if you put pictures of their before and after. Which we all know their before will win because that's when they're themselves. Like I said on my last post you shouldn't change yourself for anyone. Here are pictures of girls I know their body looks very disturbing. :/ All three girls are so skinny you can actually see their clavicle & ribs popping out! But what if you could be warned about them by your cell phone? Jing Li, a scientist at NASA Ames has been working on a chip that houses houses 32 nanosensor bars, that can respond to different chemicals and monitor their levels in real time. This was originally designed for monitoring air quality and fuel leaks aboard the International Space Station. It could have miltary use as well in monitoring chemical threats. One of the most exciting uses could possibly to detect the level of acetone in a diabetic's breath to monitor blood sugar levels which would make their lives a lot easier as they would not have to prick their finger every time to measure their blood sugar. Also nitrous oxide is correlated with lung cancer, so one were to detect this in their breath they could possibly catch early warning signs of lung cancer and catch it before it spreads. I think this is a genius idea. If it were to come out in a future phone I would probably get the phone it'd be inbut it'd probably go bonkers while I walk downtown or over a sewer grill lol. They are some funky designed head massagers that are supposed to help relieve stress by gently massaging your head. Lol. To me it looks like a head scratcher instead of a massager lmaol. I do like the concept but I kind of don't like the way it's designed. I think it's mainly because it's made out of metal and if you lose those gels like tips you can easily scrape your head instead. Plus this is not kid friendly in my opinion. Kids can hurt themselves if they are not supervised. They have some plain ones and some that vibrates. Lmaol…(ok get your minds out the gutter :P) LOL. These ranges around $10-20 depending on where you get them from. What do you think? I only really needed flat shader brushes so I ended up getting one of those and then the other brush is a concealer brush. The concealer brush is really nice and I’ll probably be using it for also cream eyesahdows. Both of the brushes were $3.99USD but since it was BOGO I basically got 2 brushes for the price of 1. I also needed a new mascara! I seriously just tossed out 4 tubes of mascara because they were getting old so I ended up choosing the Prestige My Blackest Lashes mascara. I’ve heard michele1218 from you tube talk about this before and I wanted to try so fingers crossed that I like it. Lastly I ended up getting another Maybelline Color Tattoo. This time I got the Pomegranate Punk shade. When I first saw this I thought that I didn’t need it but I kept seeing swatches and it’s a really pretty color so I gave it. I love the design of it and it is super light compared to other necklaces that are chunky looking. This brand is from Chaps and was only $5 or so I can't remember sorry. I will have to do an OOTD with this so you can see how nice it looks on. Sometimes people don't buy things because they can't imagine an OOTD with it but I always buy my pieces separate and then piece them when I get home. I never spend a whole day trying to find a matching outfit. Being too matchy matchy isn't cool. What do you think? Up to 72 people are dead and hundreds injured as fans from a rival team invade the field throwing stuff and burning things. An interesting analysis by CNN is that Egypt nowadays is lacking in security personnel ever since the popular uprising that knocked out their long time Dictator/President. I've heard of soccer incidence before where there are riots in other countries. But I've never seen something to this scale and definitely not in the U.S. Perhaps at concerts but not at a sporting event. Well, here I will present you "The Kissenger" which is a robotic pig that sense a user's kiss to the other user who's also holding its own robotic pig on the other end. Both participants are to put their lips on each of the robotic pig lips to get some actions. The lips are very sensitive, but are motors inside the robots! The robotic pigs includes silicon pads that transmit the lips movement towards each other. I don't know, but this is by far the funniest inventor ever! Whoever thought of this is freaking funny! The second photo is a set of chairs called "United We Stand" by Rob Southcott. From his site it says that the "Four chairs draw support from neigbouring structures mimicking the support networks formed in human relations. Alone the individual chairs become less stable and rely on adjoining structures for strength and support." I think that is a really neat way to look at the chairs and human relations. I would perhaps like one of the benches may be next to the doorway for guests to sit on while putting on their shoes. There are benches made by Pablo Reinoso that wind up the sides of walls or over ledges which I think would be super neat to have, but a pain to dust/clean. I don't even want to know what one of these would cost if they were available for sale. So we'll just place it in my "pretend home" for now lol. What do you think of these? So, then after going to the mall: we decided to go to Ross because my friend needed to buy some home decor/accessories. I haven't shopped at Ross in ages so I decided to browse through the purse department to see if I would score any good deals and guess what? I found a quilted purse with chain detailing for only $30! This purse has a brand and it's Kenneth Cole Reaction quilted red purse valued at $99! What a freaking good deal! I don't need a Chanel anymore, this bag will satisfy my needs for right now! :) I wish it was black with gold hardware though but red is nice too. It's a statement piece and would go well with a black little dress. It's a faux patent leather style and its extremely spacious! It has a button closure as well as a zipper pocket inside. Since it's my boyfriend & I (our) yearly anniversary is coming up in a few days, he bought this as a gift. It's actually a tradition that he buys me a new purse for every yearly anniversary but this year he got off lucky because this purse is only $30 haha, all well. What do you think of my new purse? Pearl Harbor is probably one of the busier tourist sites in Hawaii. I am glad we read about it before going as you cannot bring large bags, purses, or strollers into the Memorial due to security reasons. So on that day we just brought our cameras and our wallets. The main thing we did when we went here was go aboard the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park shown in pictures 3-7. It was interesting to see the inside of a submarine. I myself could never be on board of one of those in real life since I have motion sickness and I could not stand sleeping in such small quarters or even be cramped into a place that that for weeks on end. It is $10 to go onto the submarine and tour or $7 if you're military and they give you a digital audio player that narrates you through the submarine and there are numbers listed inside the submarine so you know what you're looking at. I thought it was really neat to get a glimpse of history visiting here. It is extremely hot and stuffy inside the submarine. Do not wear too many layers of clothing but you cannot visit Pearl Harbor in only your swim trunks or in a bikini and shorts. We were going to do see a few more of the things and visit the site of the USS Arizona Memorial(which I think is in the last picture), but we didn't have time and this was during our first visit and we just took a bunch of pictures, went on the tour and then went to the Dole Plantation. About a week ago I decided to bake a pumpkin loaf, which is something I've never done before and I don't know why since pumpkin is such a great source of vitamin A as it provides 100% of your daily vitamin A intake in a 1/2 cup serving. So I looked on my favorite site for recipes and found this recipe <a href="http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pumpkin-bread-iv/detail.aspx">http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pumpkin-bread-iv/detail.aspx</a> I of course only made one loaf and not 3 because that's a little crazy lol. So I used 1 cup canned pumpkin puree 1/2 cup vegetable oil 3/4 cups brown sugar 4 small packets of stevia 2 eggs 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup of wheat bran 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon all spice I did change the recipe a bit so I could lower the amount and type of sugar and add stevia and also add wheat bran. I also added more cinnamon and used all spice since I did not have nutmeg or cloves at home. I sifted all of the dry ingredients together minus the sugar. I combined the wet ones and then the sugar and mixed the dry ingredients in and added about 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds and poured it into a loaf pan which I sprayed with pam and then sprinkled the top with more flax seeds. I did bake this loaf for 60 minutes. May be it was cause I used less flour and used wheat bran which absorbed less of the liquid. Once it was cool however it did have the texture I wanted. I enjoy a strong cinnamon and spice taste to my loves so I always add more. If you don't you may want to follow the recipe. Have you cooked with pumpkin before? If so what did you make? Side note: the pumpkin loaf stained my cutting board :( It took 2 good washes with hot soapy water to remove the yellow/orange that came from the pumpkin, so if you cut it you may want to place a paper towel underneath. You can find more apps and info about them if you get the Touch Autism app. She’s super happy with it. She loves to listen to music on it. I’m still in the search of a great cover protector for the ipad, since she will be taking it to school and I want to make sure nothing happens to it. I used this recipe (<a href="http://allrecipes.com/recipe/classic-peanut-butter-cookies/detail.aspx)">http://allrecipes.com/recipe/classic-peanut-butter-cookies/detail.aspx)</a> as it was popular and scaled it down to 6 servings 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter 1/4 cup white sugar 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 eggs 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda Instead of using crunchy peanut butter filled with icing sugar I used my natural peanut butter with nothing in it but peanuts, bad idea lol. The reason why is cause people bake according to sugary peanut butters and even with the added sugar, they didn't taste so great and it was quite like eating baked peanut butter if you could imagine that. So I had to make improvements to them and I was like let's melt some dark chocolate baking squares in a double boiler and pour a half a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream in just for some added fun ;) Then I used a knife to drizzle it on top of the cooled cookies and placed them in the fridge for about 10 mins so that the chocolate mixture could settle and harden a bit. Praise the dark chocolate and the Bailey's because without them natural peanut butter cookies are not so tasty. What is your favorite type of cookie? Cape Town is more of the southern side of South Africa! Tourism loves to visit this breath taking place because its romantic and well known city! Table Mountains is one of the amazing spot you need to visit. The clouds would literally sit on top of the mountains. The Table Mountain is a solid area of Cape Town. A long there's a dividing city that has distinct zones that includes public gardens, wilderness, forests, hiking routes and so on. Looking over during the sunset is the most romantic thing ever!
