I have been going around like a lunatic for months looking for these vegetable shaped veggie holders! I spotted them at Target (in the dollar depo section) but my wallet was in the car and I promised my boyfriend I was only running in to exchange something. Of course, when I went back Target no longer had them. I was kicking myself in the butt because I had seen them before and LOVED them but they were ridiculously priced so I passed at that time. Don't think you think I am in Michael's this weekend buying a few things I'll need to bring cupcakes to a bridal shower next weekend and there they are sitting in one of the racks near the door to leave. I just walked out of line as the girl was ringing up my stuff to grab them (LOL!!). Since there were people behind me (who are now looking at me like WTF?!?) I rushed back to the register to give her my 2 items to purchase. These were only $1 at Michaels!! I was really tempted to look for the onion shaped one because that would make me cheesily happy -- so next time I head on up to where Michael's is, I'm going to be popping in, in hopes to find the onion.
What makes these things SO cute? Well, they are shaped just like the vegetable. All you do is pop the bottom and it opens up and you insert your cut up veggie into it and close it shut. You put it in the fridge and there's no more searching for the container or baggie you put your veggies in. Since it's a closed container, it'll help in keeping your produce fresh.
Now I really need the onion container ... I'm obsessed!
QUESTION:
Have you purchased or would you purchase these veggie shaped vegetable holders?
Images are mine do not take or use. Thank you.

salvador santillan: they're super adorable!
arual 728: I buy jars of minced garlic because I don't want to chop up cloves of garlic (I use a LOT of garlic). But LOL @ stinky
Really cool. I had never even seen nor heard of these.lol. Cool idea.
I have a garlic container...lol.. I used to have an onion and lemon but I gave it to my bf step dad he always left it out and made the fridge stinky lol...
They're cute
crispy ☮: they do take up room but I see it like the bags/bowls of cut up veggies are taking up room as well
I've seen these at BBB before, well, similar ones anyway. I think they are cute, but would take up more room in the fridge and whatnot.
Zeus .: I think they're so cute though! haha I'm such a weirdo I want an arrangement of fruit/veggie holders in my fridge. I am known to cut up a piece of onion, pepper, tomato, etc., for sandwiches and salads so I always have extra and am looking for something to store it in.
veronica becerra: Really? I'm going to have to check there if I can't get the onion one at Michael's
I have seen these at bed bath and beyond, I wanted to buy the avocado shaped holder, however it was not really cost effective since I usually finish a whole avocado in one sitting.
i have seen these at tjmaxx too
Thi Hoang: Michael's sells a lot of stuff in little spinny bins
How cute. I didn't know Michaels sell things like these.
