It is almost that time of the year again. It is warming up and time to get into shape so you can strut your stuff at the beach, swim, surf, and snorkel. While you're away having all of that fun who is watching your valueables? Tansafe is a container that looks like a sunscreen bottle which you can use to hold your valueables such as your phone, keys, money and credit cards. It measures 16.5cm (H) x 6.7cm (W) x 2.7cm (D), has a watertight seal and is sold for $13 at firebox.com. Personally when we go to the beach all we bring are the car keys beverages and a waterproof camera which we take with us into the ocean. I don't understand why you would bring all of that. Isn't the point of going to the beach to relax and get away from your phone? What are you going to buy at the beach with your credit card? A seashell? Lol I wish they would have different sunscreen logos on it. Because if someone read this article and saw your Tansafe bottle they'd know your goods are in there.
What do you usually bring with you to the beach?
Do you bring your phone?
Is there someone you go with that usually watches your stuff or do you take turns?

αnny montany: I am only a beach goer on vacation so we usually don't keep much. I try not to tan since I tan easily and it takes 6+ months for it to fade
That's actually really smart. I wouldn't buy a $13 bottle. I'm sure everyone can just empty out some kind of bottle and hide valuables in that. But it's a good idea. I'm not much of a beach goer but if I were, definitely using this.
Nera N.N.: If you do you can post it in design too :)
MACaddict25 ♥: It is a really good idea.
This is so smart! I'm going to try to make smth like this from an empty sunscreen lotion ;)
thats a really good idea
Starla <3: It is a great idea.
Wow that is a wonderful idea :D
Brooklyn Mak: Haha what if you forget where you bury them? You'd be so screwed.
Connie C: I should really get a sun hat.
i usually just bury my valuables in teh sand...
I bring my beach towel, sunscreen, water, and a hat when I go. I usually bring a bag with me to put all of this stuff in.
Anthony Tran: Same here. I just usually bring cash and leave the valueables in the trunk of the vehicle.
I hide my phone and wallet in the car = not really safe but all well. There is no one to watch our stuff. When I know I am going to the beach I do not bring my cc's just a little cash encase we get hungry afterwards.
Mariana Silva: It is a pretty smart idea.
crispy ☮: We don't have a beach well a real one so I don't go since the ones here are by lakes and I like real beaches by the ocean. Hopefully I'll be able to go when I go to San Diego in June.
mylittlecasey *: Exactly if a thief shook your bottle you'd be screwed and yeah tansafe thanks for letting everyone know on the internet what the storage thing people are using to hold their goods are lol. If they used a coppertone or neutrogena label they'd have to pay licensing fees so it'd be a lot more expensive.
Sarah V: I wear a waterproof watch when I go. We go snorkeling when we've been at the beach so we're usually in the ocen for 30 minutes to an hour so we can't keep our eyes on our stuff all of the time.
Zigz 12: But it wouldn't have a watertight seal if you made one yourself.
Michelle Mai Huynh♡: It is a smart idea.
Smart idea!
Smart, but the packaging could look less generic.. and now everyone knows.. so don't use this the next time you are at the beach. I rarely go to the beach or the lake as we call it here (Lake Michigan).
Clever idea as a product but I agree that they should make the label a little less obvious. Make it look like an actual brand you see in stores at least. The word "safe" could give it away. Then again if the theif shakes the bottle, the game's up! lol
I always bring my phone to the beach, mostly so that I can check the time, lol. It's a neat idea, but I just keep my stuff in my beach bag and make sure I can see it when I'm in the water (my beach is never very crowded so I don't really have to worry).
Rather than buy one, I would make one using an old lotion bottle. It would be a good way to recycle them.
Super smart idea. =)
