For my date with the husband, we went to Flower Power which is a franchise that sells pottery and plants etc.
Occasionally they would have plants that are changing seasons and aren't doing too well on sale...this plant went down from $10 to $2.. The pot was also half price, making it only $5. Now i'm not a green thumb neither is my hsuband. One year he bought me a rose PLANt and said "instead of continually buying you roses that eventually die - i got you a plant lol) well it died quicker than rose stems themselves lol.
But since it's only $7 all up, we thought we'd give it another try.
My husband did the repotting and put all these "STUFF" to help it grow and all i have to do is water it, i hope i am able to remember - but a week after ( second photo) and it's still healthy and strong

I really like plants
SUch a beautiful little plant. You know, I've noticed that plants grow a lot only if the person that purchased them is there. My mother bought many plants and would give them water and they were always happy. Now that she moved to another state, I give them water but they're always sad!:(
