I have a soft spot for all things kitschy, so whenever I pass by a thrift shop, I have to check out their housewares section to see what they have in store. I have a roommate who is also into kitschy decor, so that's kind of an enabler, as well, lol.

I have found some real treasures, including unique shotglasses, candles, and...mugs! When I saw the funny face mug in the photo above, I knew I had to get it. It was only a few dollars, and I'd never seen one quite like it before. The nose of the mug actually sticks out from the rest of it, too...it's pretty awesome. XD

I don't actually use this mug for drinking purposes, I actually use it to hold pens and pencils near my computer desk. I've broken mugs, and have had roommates break mugs, too, so I've decided to keep this one in my room where it'll be safe!

It may be kind of silly, but this mug is too special to me to use in the kitchen. ^^
