Hi Everyone!
For Mother's Day, my mom and I spent some of the day gardening! Every year we plant impatiens in one of our backyard flower beds and they always look beautiful!
We got 48 mini impatiens plants for about $23 at Lowe's and they sure went a long way! We had enough for flower pots on our front porch! We're also planning to buy some hanging planters to put them under the windows in the front of our house.
Usually we mix a bunch of different colors like red, white and pink, but this year we decided to just stick with a light pink flower with a dark pink center.
As these flowers grow, they tend to spread out into a bed or, if they're in a planter, they hang over the edge like a waterfall which looks very pretty :)
The planter and bed may look a little sparse in the pictures, but overtime they'll look very full. I'll try to update with some more pictures!
I really recommend these flowers for beginning gardeners because they're very hearty and relatively cheap at home improvement stores!
