Lately, I've been so intrigued by the art of Henna. It's so beautiful. I've been watching videos on YouTube of people creating their Indian Henna art on different people. Different designs, different patterns. It's all incredible. I would love to have this done to me. I've been reading all about it and I've heard that most people never use black ink henna because it it is supposed to be very dangerous. I'm not sure why.... but I guess I'll need to do more research on the art.
I'm really impressed by the intricate details.

I love using Henna or what we call mehndi. I free hand my own designs but usually only for certain occasions. I helped do my cousin's mehndi for her wedding :)

there are some substances in henna that may be dangerous to health, my mom stoped dying her hair with henna becouse she also heard that. but i also don't know much about it. i think that's maybe why some people have strong alergic reactions to it. luckly i don't! i love henna art and tatoos.. its really beautiful. loved the picture.

I absolutely love henna! You don't need to have a set pattern, though. When I apply henna, I freehand it. Rarely do I use a pattern. Maybe once in a while I will look online for inspiration, but it's more fun to just create something out of nothing [:
