Blue sometimes can represent sadness but it can also represent clear optimism such as a clear blue day. Blue is also known to be a soothing color. Most of its shades are easy on the eyes and sometimes used in medical environments to help soothe patients. With so many beautiful shades of blue, it would make sense to design an entire room with this color in mind.
Some of the examples show that adding white to the blue really makes a statement and is crisp and clean looking. Or by adding rich brown accents, the room takes on a more elegant feeling. All the examples show that blue makes a very inviting room that you want to spend hours in!
