This is my second installment in a College Essentials series that I'm doing. This post is all about organizing your desk. These tips are great for college obviously but they are also useful in a regular house or apartment.
*The easiest way to keep your desk organized is to sort papers and receipts into an organized accordion file. Some of them have tabs that you can label for each section to keep you even more organized. These can be placed in a drawer or just on top of your desk and they keep all your papers from cluttering up your work space.
*Bookends will help keep your books in order and keep them from getting damaged. There are some really cute designs like the ones shown that can add a little style to your desk also.
*Desk organizer lamps are a must! Not only do they give you light to work by, they also have holes and slots for just about anything that might be sitting around on your desk. They are great for eliminating clutter!
*The same goes for drawer organizers. These come in a variety of sizes and help to keep everything in your drawers organized instead of just laying in the drawer and getting all mixed up. A great space saving option!
*Dry erase to-do lists and calendars are a MUST! I have both and I might die without them! They are such life savers! They come in many different sizes and cute designs and you can buy a variety of marker colors. They keep you on task and organized!
*Desktop drawers are great for eliminating clutter as well. These are great for larger things that won't always fit in your lamp organizer like camera and phone chargers.
Those are just a few of my tips for an organized desk! Follow me and keep your eye out for more organization tips! If you have any comments or questions please leave them below.
