I've stated before how I love when things are made with reclaimed wood. While this is made of reclaimed wood (cedar tree trunk), it has been distressed and whitewashed. The top of the table, however, is just simple plywood.

If I'm paying $6,000 for a table (though I really don't think I ever, ever would) I wouldn't want it to be made to look like it was older or different than it is. I know that it has to be treated or somehting since it is a tree trunk, but... you know. I also wouldn't really want the top to be plain plywood.

Thing is, you could make this for yourself fairly easily for less than $100.

It's handmade in Pennsylvania and measures 30 inches high by 84 inches wide by 54 deep (I'm assuming that's maybe the tree trunk).

Would you pay $6,000 for a table? How much would you pay or this one?
